About this role
Role and Responsibilities: Provides skilled physical therapy services to outpatient patients, focusing on general orthopedics, geriatrics, and chronic pain.
Establishes treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional goals, educates and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, and makes appropriate referrals.
Delegates tasks to assistants, techs, and students based on their skill levels, completes documentation per departmental policies, and conducts assessments, re-evaluations, and consultations.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy and a valid Physical Therapist License.
- Preferred candidates may hold a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy.
- No prior experience is necessary, and supervisory experience is not required.
Skills and Key Duties
- Strong communication skills for patient education and collaboration, clinical judgment for treatment planning, and delegation abilities.
- Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, documenting care, and making referrals as needed.
