Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Role Overview We seek a full-time Occupational Therapist to deliver skilled inpatient occupational therapy services in an acute care setting, ensuring personalized patient care aligned with their needs, values, and goals.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment requirements.
• Educates and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams; recommends specialist referrals as needed.
• Delegates tasks to assistants, techs, and students, assessing their competency levels.
• Completes documentation compliant with departmental policies.
• Provides assessments, re-evaluations, and consultations for occupational therapy services.
• Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (OT); Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• No prior experience required; supervision experience is not mandatory.
