About this role
Role:
Occupational Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to restore or improve patients' daily functioning, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and input from patients and families.
- Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources.
- Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment goals and discharge plans.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans following departmental guidelines.
- Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and professional appearance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and participate in meetings and training.
- Promote a positive patient experience, demonstrate customer service principles, and foster teamwork.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and ensure licensure and certifications are current.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification.
- Effective communication, customer service focus, team orientation, and basic computer skills.
