Role & Responsibilities: Plans and implements occupational therapy treatment programs for patients across all ages, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Duties
Self-assesses and seeks ongoing professional development; builds rapport with patients, families, and team members; communicates effectively across diverse audiences; evaluates patient performance; develops individualized treatment plans; documents care; participates in discharge planning and promotes evidence-based practices.
Mentors staff, supports student training, and fosters a positive team environment. Identifies patient needs, analyzes data, and develops solutions. Maintains departmental policies, safety, and quality standards.
Recognizes stressors and develops coping strategies. Actively contributes to department growth and change management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, plus a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- No prior experience required.
