We are seeking a Software Engineer II to design, develop, and support scalable web applications and software systems. This role involves implementing new features, improving system performance, maintaining code quality, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver reliable and innovative technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development experience and a passion for building secure, efficient, and user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications and distributed software systems.
• Implement new features and enhancements while ensuring system stability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Create and manage web content and application functionality using modern development tools and platforms.
• Develop clean, efficient, and high-quality code that meets business and technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to deliver effective solutions.
• Communicate project status, technical updates, and risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with development standards, documentation requirements, and established best practices.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and delivery activities within Agile development environments.
• Research emerging technologies and provide recommendations for future application and platform enhancements.
• Support software deployment, production releases, and ongoing application maintenance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and project contributors.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of experience in software development, implementation, and support.
• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise-level web applications and services.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, frameworks, and development platforms.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, React, Angular, Bootstrap, or similar frameworks.
• Strong experience with back-end development using technologies such as .NET, C#, MVC, or comparable platforms.
• Knowledge of source control systems such as Git and modern branching strategies.
• Experience with SQL, database design, query optimization, ORM technologies, and data access frameworks.
• Familiarity with API development and integration using RESTful services, JSON, XML, authentication, and authorization technologies.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Agile project management platforms, and application lifecycle management tools.
