About the Role

As a Product Design Lead, you will drive the end-to-end design strategy and execution for multiple high-impact digital products. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders to create seamless user experiences while balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical considerations.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design & Experience Strategy

  • Lead the design vision and execution for complex digital product initiatives.
  • Translate customer needs, business objectives, and research insights into impactful product experiences.
  • Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Develop solutions that improve usability, accessibility, and overall customer experience.
  • Apply design systems, frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability.

User-Centered Design

  • Advocate for customer-focused solutions through research, insights, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Balance user needs with business priorities and technical constraints.
  • Promote inclusive and accessible design principles throughout the product development process.
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative feedback to continuously improve experiences.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Lead design initiatives across multiple projects and strategic workstreams.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior and mid-level designers.
  • Help strengthen design processes, standards, and team culture.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the design organization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with product management, engineering, research, and business teams.
  • Influence product roadmaps and strategic priorities through design expertise.
  • Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
  • Align stakeholders around a shared vision and customer-centric outcomes.

Business & Market Impact

  • Utilize customer insights, competitive analysis, and market trends to guide design decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product adoption, engagement, and business performance.
  • Contribute to long-term product strategy and innovation efforts.
  • Ensure design solutions support organizational goals and measurable outcomes.

Problem Solving & Innovation

  • Navigate complex challenges involving technology, data, and evolving customer expectations.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and design approaches to enhance user experiences.
  • Work collaboratively to overcome technical constraints and deliver effective solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement through experimentation and iterative design.

Communication & Influence

  • Present design concepts, recommendations, and outcomes to stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Communicate complex ideas through compelling storytelling, data, and design artifacts.
  • Build alignment and influence strategic decisions through clear and thoughtful communication.
  • Advocate for design excellence across the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Design, User Experience (UX), Interaction Design, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience using design and prototyping tools such as Figma or similar platforms.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, product strategy, execution, and measurable results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in Product Design or a related discipline.
  • Experience contributing to and working within established design systems.
  • Proven success collaborating with product, engineering, research, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience leading complex design initiatives or mentoring design teams.
  • Background working in highly regulated, data-intensive, or complex problem-solving environments.
  • Experience designing customer-facing digital products at scale.
