About this role
For our client, we are seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager- Security to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.
This role will lead a portfolio of security programs that strengthen the company’s cloud-based platform and protect sensitive customer data.
You will partner closely with engineering, technical leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive complex initiatives from strategy through execution.
The position requires strong technical judgment, clear communication, and the ability to align competing priorities while measuring impact and managing risk.
Location
San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $222,500 – $305,900 annually
Responsibilities
- Define and own the security program strategy and roadmap
- Drive initiatives across multiple engineering domains
- Oversee execution of complex security engineering initiatives
- Leverage technical knowledge to influence design decisions and mitigate risks
- Define and track security metrics to measure program impact
- Present program status and risks to executive and technical audiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- 8+ years in technical program management or a related leadership role
- Experience leading large-scale security programs in cloud-native or SaaS environments
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to align stakeholders
- Deep technical knowledge in IAM, data privacy, and anomaly detection
- Proven ability to resolve conflicting priorities across teams
