About this role

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Product Designer, Agentic Workflows to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will shape end-to-end design for ambitious, AI-powered product experiences that help users work more effectively across complex workflows. You will partner closely with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership to define direction, influence priorities, and bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces.

The position calls for a strong craft perspective, a builder's mindset, and the ability to turn research and storytelling into aligned execution and high-quality shipped experiences.

Location

San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $237,000 – $398,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design across cross-functional initiatives
  • Define and drive design strategy for core product experiences
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape product direction and influence priorities
  • Engage with customers to iterate on design direction
  • Partner with Product Marketing for successful go-to-market launches
  • Drive team alignment through storytelling and research synthesis
  • Mentor and guide other designers and enhance design culture
  • Deliver high-quality user experiences and ship front-end code

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product design experience
  • Proven ability to drive clarity in ambiguous problem spaces
  • Strategic, visionary perspective in innovative product design
  • Builder's mindset with high standards for design craftsmanship
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership in complex product design
  • Experience designing features powered by AI
  • Bias for action and iteration in learning and shipping
  • Clear communication and storytelling skills
  • Track record of mentoring designers and contributing to design culture
