About this role
Role: Occupational Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patients' daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies.
- Implement and adjust therapy interventions, selecting appropriate activities to meet patient goals.
- Educate patients and families, providing discharge instructions, follow-up, and resource referrals.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans per departmental protocols.
- Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and effective communication.
- Participate in staff meetings, ongoing education, and process improvement activities.
- Ensure safe use of materials and infection control practices.
- Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license, BLS certification, Georgia driver’s license, and private vehicle insurance.
- Strong communication skills, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to operate own vehicle and travel to patient sites as needed.
