Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) - Orthopedics Location: Colorado Springs, CO Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced NP or PA to evaluate and manage orthopedic, sports-related, and musculoskeletal injuries. Candidates with experience in concussion management and mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries.
• Perform orthopedic and neurological examinations.
• Diagnose and treat orthopedic and sports-related conditions.
• Evaluate concussions, headaches, dizziness, and related symptoms.
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging, including X-rays, MRI, and CT scans.
• Develop treatment plans involving medications, rehabilitation, and referrals.
• Perform or assist with joint injections and PRP procedures, as applicable.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Requirements

• Active Colorado NP or PA-C license.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, PM&R, or a related specialty.
• Familiarity with joint injections and PRP.
• Strong musculoskeletal and neurological assessment skills.
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
