Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in planning and delivering care.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other health professionals to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy, adhere to infection control practices, and respond to changes in patient condition or emergencies.

Requirements

• Active California RN license in good standing
• BLS certification
• 1 year of RN experience in telemetry/acute care or related setting
• Ability to work nights and 12-hour shift schedule
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Eligibility for credentialing and placement on a travel assignment
