Overview

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in Cambridge, MA. ER specialty, starting 11/16/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,575–$2,766 per week with guaranteed 36 hours.

12-hour evening shifts (11:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m.), 12x3 schedule. This is a hospital-based emergency department role with no block scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients presenting with acute conditions in the ED, including triage and rapid stabilization
• Monitor, reassess, and respond to changing patient conditions; initiate appropriate interventions and escalate as needed
• Administer medications and treatments per orders; manage IVs, monitoring devices, and patient safety equipment
• Document care, assessments, and outcomes accurately in the EMR; EPIC experience is preferred
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff; participate in discharge planning and patient-family education
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and compliance with department policies; no block scheduling, with every-other-major-holiday requirement as applicable

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license with NURSYS verification within the last week; must show all licenses
• 2+ years ER/acute care nursing experience
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Flu vaccine on file
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• 2 recent Manager/Supervisor references in ER and an up-to-date resume documenting ER experience and, if applicable, travel assignments
• RTO must be provided at submission; valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
