Responsibilities

• Provide direct critical care to adult MICU patients, delivering comprehensive assessments and interventions.
• Monitor ventilatory status and hemodynamics; manage vasoactive medications and other complex therapies per protocol.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and update care plans, and participate in multidisciplinary rounds.
• Manage invasive lines and devices (arterial/central lines) with strict adherence to infection control, safety, and documentation standards.
• Document care activities and updates in the electronic medical record; communicate changes promptly to the care team and physicians.
• Collaborate with families and the healthcare team to ensure patient comfort, safety, and timely transition of care when appropriate.

Requirements

• Current, active RN license to practice in the United States (state not specified).
• BSN degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU/MICU or equivalent high-acuity experience.
• Ability to work 7:00 PM–7:00 AM night shifts; 3x12-hour shifts.
• Must be willing/able to work every other weekend (EOW) and participate in a 13-week assignment under the Local Contract program.
