Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for telemetry patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Monitor telemetry equipment and patient status; respond promptly to changes in conditions.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; document findings accurately in the medical record.
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to optimize patient outcomes; use critical thinking and independent judgment.
• Maintain patient safety and quality of care by adhering to policies, procedures, and infection control practices.

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• Telemetry nursing experience or strong acute care background preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a hospital setting
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation
• Demonstrated teamwork and ability to coordinate care across disciplines
