Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to a patient group according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform procedures within scope of practice
• Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to prioritization and decision-making in high-acuity situations
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams; advocate for patient safety and comfort
• Document care accurately and ensure continuity of care across shifts

Requirements

• Active RN license (state requirements as applicable)
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
• Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
• Willingness to participate in orientation and credentialing processes
