Overview

Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele, Plymouth, MA. Travel assignment starting November 16, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,555 to $2,733 per week.

Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly (these guaranteed hours do not include any on-call time). Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am), three shifts per week. Setting: hospital-based 49-bed general medical/surgical telemetry unit caring for adults and geriatrics with diverse acute conditions and multiple comorbidities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients on a telemetry-enabled general medical/surgical unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including documentation in the electronic medical record (EPIC)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans; coordinate discharges and referrals as appropriate
• Provide patient and family education; assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met, participate in unit-based quality initiatives, and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license in good standing at submission
• Current telemetry experience; Med/Surg experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; AHABLS certification noted in job requirements
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a hospital telemetry unit
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the assignment facility (no local travelers)
• Pass/Fail testing required prior to acceptance (ECG/telemetry and medication administration), with a proctored session via Zoom scheduled within 48 hours of tentative offer
• Orientation is biweekly; NM to interview and extend offer
