Responsibilities

• Provide direct geriatric nursing care, including assessments, vital signs, medication administration, and care planning.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition; document findings and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders; ensure accurate charting.
• Implement care plans, safety protocols, fall prevention, and infection control measures.
• Communicate with residents and families; provide comfort measures and advocacy as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and coordinate with healthcare team for smooth transitions of care.

Requirements

• Active North Carolina RN license
• Minimum 12 months of recent RN experience
• Geriatric/long-term care experience preferred
• Within 100 miles of the assignment location
• Credentials due: 10/10/26 or ASAP; orientation is provided
• Weekend requirements: Every other weekend
