Data Scientist

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Develop and apply statistical and machine learning models to enhance decision-making and improve business outcomes.
• Translate complex business challenges into data science solutions, defining methodologies and sourcing relevant data.
• Communicate clear, actionable recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Operationalize data science work through repeatable pipelines and contribute to shared standards for documentation and reproducibility.
• Partner cross-functionally to drive the adoption of data-driven insights and models into business workflows.

What You'll Need

• 4+ years of experience in data science, applied analytics, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL.
• Experience with deploying or maintaining models in production environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with experiment design and causal inference is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor others and influence cross-functional partners.
