Job Summary

Join a primary care team serving LGBTQ+ patients with respectful, affirming care. You don't need speciality experience, just primary care experience, and we will train and mentor you in LBGTQ+ specific care. As a bilingual Spanish Physician Assistant (PA), you’ll assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate follow-up across a range of health needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intake, review medical records, take vital signs, and perform physical examinations.
• Evaluate symptoms, interpret diagnostic tests, make healthcare diagnoses, and prescribe medications within applicable regulations and collaborative practice agreements.
• Provide primary care, preventive health coaching, medication administration, and injection services; arrange referrals and follow-up as needed.
• Document care accurately in electronic health records EPIC, protect patient privacy under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and follow infection-control practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support clinical research, data collection, and quality standards when applicable.

Skills

• All Ages Primary Care Experience - at least 18 years and older
• Required: Current PA qualifications for practice, bilingual Spanish communication, patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology knowledge, and strong client communication.
• Required: Primary care experience and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; Epic experience is useful.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $167,000.00 per year
