Occupational Therapist (Float)

Role Overview: The Occupational Therapist plans and executes treatment programs for patients from neonatal to geriatric, adhering to established practices. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and may provide coverage across various settings, including acute/inpatient, outpatient orthopedics, and neurologic rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide coverage across multiple clinical areas as needed.
• Qualifications & Skills Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Master’s (MOT) or Doctorate (OTD) in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Relevant standards accepted for candidates prior to 2007.

Experience

Preferred to have at least one year of clinical experience.

Licensing & Certification

Must hold a valid Occupational Therapist license from the relevant licensing board, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within ninety days of employment.
