About this role
We are seeking a Battery Management System Engineer to design and develop vehicle electrical and electronic systems, focusing on battery management and charge balancing.
Key Responsibilities
Include
- Delivering engineering assignments with guidance, expanding technical knowledge in specific areas.
- Designing electrical hardware and software specifications, conducting design reviews.
- Troubleshooting system issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing solutions in prototypes and mass production vehicles.
- Testing ECU hardware/software performance, ensuring electromagnetic compatibility and reliability, and preparing verification reports.
- Collaborating with suppliers, managing project timelines, and communicating progress to technical leadership.
- Managing documentation, identifying potential problems, and proposing corrective actions.
Qualifications
Include
- At least an Associate degree in engineering or related STEM field; a Bachelor's preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in automotive or similar industries.
- Strong communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in tools like PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, and CANalyzer.
Workstyle
Onsite role with remote work possibility, minimal travel, and occasional overtime. Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
