The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, collaborates effectively with cross-functional leaders, and communicates insights clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed financial projections, business cases, and investment evaluations to assess proposed programs, service lines, technology purchases, provider recruitment plans, and broader strategic opportunities.
- Lead high-priority analytical projects assigned by senior leadership, managing timelines, synthesizing findings, and presenting actionable recommendations.
- Work closely with operational leaders to uncover performance gaps and develop financially sound, sustainable improvements across workflows and service delivery.

- Partner with teams across revenue cycle, finance, clinical operations, and supply-related functions to improve charge capture, reimbursement outcomes, and financial accuracy.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, benchmarks, variance reporting, and other analytical tools that highlight trends, exceptions, and areas needing attention.
- Support sourcing, contract review, inventory-related analysis, and vendor performance monitoring to promote cost-effective purchasing and proper resource utilization.
- Maintain dependable reporting methods, documentation standards, and data validation practices to ensure the quality and accessibility of financial and operational information.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, including modeling, forecasting, and return-on-investment evaluation.
- Strong ability to perform variance analysis and deliver ad hoc analysis in response to business and leadership needs.
- Experience using data mining techniques to interpret large or complex datasets and turn findings into recommendations.
- Working knowledge of Strata or similar financial planning and analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with hospital revenue cycle processes and their impact on financial performance.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and explain complex financial concepts in a clear, practical manner.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy, reporting integrity, and sound analytical methods.
