Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Role:

Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate mental health care to seniors across long-term care, assisted living, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing mental health assessments.
• Manage and optimize medication regimens for geriatric patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Provide care through a combination of on-site visits and telehealth.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and partnering facilities to support residents’ emotional well-being, safety, and quality of life.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Advanced practice nursing credentials as a Nurse Practitioner with psychiatry focus.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to assess and treat complex mental health concerns in older adults.
• Expertise in psychiatric medication management and patient-centered care planning.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary settings.
• Comfort delivering services both in person and via telehealth.
