Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner

Provide advanced clinical care for complex GI patients in a specialty practice. Perform comprehensive assessments, order and interpret diagnostic testing, and develop/manage individualized treatment plans. Assist with outpatient and inpatient GI procedures and deliver patient education on chronic conditions including IBD, GERD, and liver disease.

Key Duties

• Conduct advanced assessments and formulate clinical plans
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic results
• Manage treatment plans for complex GI conditions
• Assist with GI procedures across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Coordinate care with physicians and allied healthcare staff
• Provide thorough patient education and ongoing support
• Document accurately and completely in the EHR

Qualifications & Skills

• Nurse Practitioner with strong GI specialty knowledge
• Expert clinical decision-making and diagnostic interpretation
• Ability to educate patients on chronic GI diseases
• Strong communication and collaborative care coordination
• High-quality, detail-oriented EHR documentation
