Physical Therapist - Full-Time

Find your calling at Mercy! Under supervision of Therapy Leadership, performs objective assessments and develops comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.

Responsible for direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, as well as general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with state practice acts.

Shift: Days, Full-Time

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor, Master of Science, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current or temporary Physical Therapy license in the practice state.
• Certifications: BLS certification; all required certifications must be current prior to independent patient care.
• Preferred Experience: 6 months to 1 year in rehabilitation, with experience caring for adult and geriatric patients.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting movements.
