Senior Financial Data Analyst

LHH is partnering with a growing, manufacturing (non-automotive) company in the search for a Senior Financial Data Analyst to join its finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex financial and operational data into meaningful insights and creating dashboards that help leaders make better business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reporting tools
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities
• Build and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and management reporting
• Develop core financial measures in DAX
• Use SQL to query, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources
• Clean, validate, and reconcile data to ensure reporting accuracy
• Partner with accounting, finance, operations, and other teams to understand reporting and analytical needs
• Translate data sets into clear, actionable insights for business leaders
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate reporting processes
• Support ad hoc financial and operational analysis

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Ideally 5+ years of related experience
• Advanced Power BI skills, including dashboard development and data visualization
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting concepts
• Experience with data cleaning, validation, KPI reporting, and financial analysis
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate data and financial insights clearly to both finance and non-finance teams
