Staff Accountant - Addison, TX (75k-80k + 10% Bonus)

LHH is seeking a Staff Accountant for an established organization with a complex, operationally focused business environment. This role is well suited for a full-cycle accounting professional with strong financial reporting experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to analyze revenue and expense activity.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, deadline-oriented, and comfortable partnering with both accounting and cross-functional leadership teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of financial reporting, including financial statement preparation and advanced balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform full-cycle accounting activities while ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
• Analyze expenses and support business teams with expense control, gross margin analysis, and identification of trends or variances.
• Apply and maintain compliance with U.S.
• GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), internal accounting policies, best practices, and internal controls.
• Assist with the preparation and development of the annual budget.
• Apply strong knowledge of revenue accounting processes to review and analyze P&Ls, identify trends, investigate discrepancies, and ensure financial accuracy.
• Research accounting issues, resolve problems, and support ongoing improvements to financial processes and reporting.
• Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliations, and revenue accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Experience with Oracle or another major ERP system preferred.
• Working knowledge of U.S.
• GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.
