Job description
About this role
About The Role
The role owns the strategy, roadmap, and execution for a B2B SaaS platform used by thousands of enterprise customers - translating ambiguous business problems into prioritized, well-scoped engineering work.
The PM sits directly between engineering and go-to-market: running discovery with customers, making build/buy/scalability tradeoffs with technical leads, and owning outcomes, not just backlogs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own a product area end-to-end: discovery, prioritization, specs, launch, and post-launch iteration against adoption and retention metrics
- Build and maintain a quarterly roadmap that balances enterprise commitments, platform scalability work, and technical debt reduction
- Write crisp PRDs and acceptance criteria that engineering teams can execute against without constant clarification
- Run customer discovery calls, synthesize feedback from sales and support, and identify the highest-leverage problems worth solving
- Define and track success metrics using SQL, Amplitude, and internal dashboards - make decisions with data, not opinions
- Partner with engineering leads on architecture tradeoffs, API design decisions, and phased rollout plans
- Communicate progress and tradeoffs clearly to executive stakeholders, including written monthly updates and quarterly business reviews
What We Are Looking For
- 3–7 years of product management experience, ideally with at least 2 years owning a technical or API-driven product
- Ability to hold credible technical conversations with engineers about system design, latency, data pipelines, and integration patterns
- Strong written communication - specs, strategy memos, and stakeholder updates that require no follow-up meetings to understand
- Hands-on comfort with analytics tooling: SQL, product analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel), and dashboarding tools
- Track record of shipping products in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with incomplete information
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience shipping software products
- Bonus: experience with developer-facing products, platform/API products, or prior background as a software engineer or technical consultant
