One of our clients in the government domain is seeking a .NET Full Stack Developer - AI-Enabled Enterprise Applications. This role is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using .NET, modern JavaScript frameworks, Microsoft Azure, enterprise integration technologies, and AI-powered development tools.

Work Schedule Standard business hours 100% Onsite (Mandatory) Travel Minimal travel expected May be required for project meetings, stakeholder engagements, or enterprise initiatives as needed Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced .NET Full Stack Developer with 10+ years of software development experience to design, develop, integrate, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise applications.

The successful candidate will possess deep expertise across front-end and back-end technologies, cloud-native architecture, enterprise integration, DevOps practices, and AI-enabled software engineering. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, development teams, and IT leadership in a fully onsite environment.

Full Stack Application Development

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications. Build responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Develop scalable backend services using .NET/C# and Node.js technologies.

Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures. Apply object-oriented design principles, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture practices. Modernize legacy applications and integrate them with cloud-based solutions.

Participate in architecture reviews, design sessions, and code reviews. AI-Powered Software Engineering Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding productivity, testing, documentation, and application delivery.

Leverage technologies such as

GitHub Copilot ChatGPT/OpenAI Claude Cursor Windsurf Azure AI Foundry Azure OpenAI Services Implement AI-based software engineering workflows and development accelerators.

Develop AI-enabled application features using

Large Language Models (LLMs) Prompt Engineering Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Enterprise Knowledge Integration Work with AI agent frameworks, vector databases, orchestration platforms, and function-calling architectures. Ensure AI-generated code complies with organizational security, compliance, and quality standards. Promote responsible and secure usage of enterprise AI technologies.

Enterprise Application Integration

Design and develop integrations across enterprise platforms and business applications.

Build secure APIs and integration services utilizing

REST JSON OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect Integrate enterprise platforms such as: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Salesforce SAP Oracle Implement integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Power Automate, and similar technologies. Support data synchronization, transformation, monitoring, and troubleshooting across enterprise environments.

Cloud, DevOps & Automation

Design and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.

Implement containerized and serverless solutions utilizing

Docker Kubernetes Azure Functions Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Develop automated testing strategies including unit, integration, regression, and API testing. Utilize AI-assisted testing platforms to improve quality and test coverage. Monitor application performance, reliability, security, and operational health.

Support DevSecOps initiatives and vulnerability remediation efforts.

Database & Data Engineering

Design and maintain SQL Server database solutions. Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimized data models. Implement secure data access and integration patterns.

Support data pipelines and AI-ready data architectures. Optimize database performance and scalability.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

Serve as a senior technical contributor and mentor for development teams. Lead technical design discussions and architecture decisions. Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, product owners, and enterprise stakeholders.

Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and delivery activities. Develop technical documentation, standards, and architecture diagrams.

Drive process improvements through automation, AI adoption, and reusable development frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience in full stack application development.
• Demonstrated success designing and delivering complex enterprise applications.
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise IT environments.
• Strong background collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• Technical Qualifications Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong experience with .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, and enterprise API development.
• Experience building microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Deep knowledge of RESTful services and enterprise integrations.
• Strong Microsoft Azure cloud development experience.
• Experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Advanced SQL Server development and performance optimization skills.
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools in software engineering workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing Generative AI solutions and AI-enabled enterprise applications. Experience implementing RAG architectures and AI agent frameworks. Experience with Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI Services.

Knowledge of vector databases and enterprise AI orchestration platforms. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code tools.

Microsoft Azure, AI, or cloud-related certifications. Experience supporting government, public sector, or highly regulated environments. Work Environment 100% onsite position in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
