Location: Lufkin, TX 75904

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring in Lufkin, Texas. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of nursing experience and be skilled in monitoring cardiac rhythms, assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and responding to changes in patients' health status.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and monitor vital signs.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize abnormal heart patterns.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
• Observe patients for changes in cardiac and overall health status.
• Identify and respond promptly to cardiac emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health management.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow infection-control procedures and patient-safety standards.

Required Certifications

• BLS Certification – Required

Must-Have Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience – Required
• Strong cardiac monitoring and patient assessment skills.
• Knowledge of telemetry equipment and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Strong critical-thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Shift Type: 12-Hour Nights
• Block Scheduling: Not available. Candidates must be flexible with the facility's scheduling requirements.

Pay: $1,850.00 - $1,950.00 per week
