Role

PLM Test Automation Engineer Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite) Experience: 5+ Years Job Description: The Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts for the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The role will focus on ensuring application quality, reliability, integration, and release readiness across PLM, engineering, and manufacturing workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
• Build scalable automation frameworks for functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing
• Validate PLM business processes, engineering workflows, and system integrations
• Execute automated and manual testing and manage defects
• Support SIT, UAT, regression, and release validation
• Perform root cause analysis and provide quality improvements
• Collaborate with developers, functional teams, Product Owners, and business stakeholders
• Apply AI-driven testing for test generation, self-healing automation, defect prediction, and test optimization
• Track automation coverage, test execution, defect trends, and quality metrics

Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Test Automation / QA / Software Testing
• Strong PLM and 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform experience
• PLM processes and engineering/manufacturing workflows
• Selenium, Playwright, or TestComplete
• VBScript and automation framework development
• Functional, regression, integration, SIT, and UAT testing
• Defect management and test reporting
• Experience working in Agile environments

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AI-assisted or AI-driven testing tools.
• Experience with automated defect analysis and predictive testing.
• Experience creating QA/testing dashboards and quality metrics.
• Knowledge of PLM engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
