About this role

ABOUT RTR

RTR Vehicles is an OEM+ Ford performance brand founded by Vaughn Gittin Jr. We build and sell Mustang RTR and Bronco RTR vehicles, plus aftermarket parts and merch, through Ford dealers, direct to consumer, and international partners. Our customers are enthusiasts.

They can smell fake from a mile away, so the marketing has to be real.

THE JOB IN SHORT

You own what RTR marketing says, who it says it to, and whether it ships on time. You set the plan, run the calendar, hold the agencies and the team accountable, and make sure everything that goes out sounds like RTR. You lead a Marketing Coordinator and a Social Media Manager.

This is a manager seat, not a doer seat. The trap is getting pulled into fixing everything yourself: rewriting copy, editing photos, pushing website changes. Your job is to set the bar, review the work, and coach the people who build it.

If something is broken, you fix the process, not just the asset.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

· Campaigns and launches. Plan and run marketing for vehicles, aftermarket products, merch and events. Set positioning and key messaging, build the launch plan, and check for gaps before anything goes live.

· Brand voice. You're the steward of how RTR sounds. Review customer-facing messaging, coach the team when copy misses, and bring the Mustang and Bronco enthusiast point of view into decisions across the company.

· Email and lifecycle. Own email strategy, calendar and promo priorities. Review concepts and copy, approve every email before it deploys, and direct the flows, forms and automations that drive sign-ups and leads (Klaviyo, ManyChat).

· Agencies and partners. Manage our email, paid media, PR and creative partners. Brief them, review and approve their work, and chase them when things are late or off-brand.

· Ford and dealer marketing. Be our marketing voice in Ford program meetings. Work with Dealer Development on dealer-facing messaging, communications and materials for the Mustang RTR and Bronco RTR programs.

· Social and content direction. Direct the Social Media Manager. Develop concepts and scripts for bigger video shoots with our media team, and for driver and personality content.

· Retention and community. Own RTR Rewards and the RTR membership program idea. It's been talked about for a long time.

We need someone to build the plan and ship it.

· Marketing operations. Make Monday.com the single source of truth: request intake, launch and product calendars, ownership, deadlines. If a launch slips, you know why.

· Analytics and reporting. Define the KPIs and the dashboards (Google Analytics, Shopify, Klaviyo, Triple Whale). Watch merch and product sell-through, and flag when we're spending to promote something that's out of stock.

· Your team. Hire, coach and hold your Coordinator and Social Media Manager to a standard. Delegate real ownership and push work back to the person it belongs to.

WHERE THIS GOES

We're growing the marketing team. For the right person, this seat has a path to Marketing Director as the team and the scope grow.

WHAT'S NOT ON YOUR PLATE

Product and lifestyle photography, photo editing, quick graphics, email builds, website and product page updates, and dealer asset packs sit with the Marketing Coordinator. You'll jump in when it's a real emergency. You won't live there.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

· 5+ years in marketing, with real ownership of campaigns and launches from plan to publish

· Automotive, performance, motorsports or enthusiast-brand background strongly preferred

· A strong writer and editor with a good ear for brand voice

· Experience managing agencies and holding them to deadlines

· Experience leading people, and the discipline to delegate instead of redo

· Hands-on familiarity with Klaviyo (or similar), Shopify, Google Analytics and a work management tool like Monday.com

· Comfortable with numbers: you can read a dashboard and decide what to do about it

· You can handle a lot of meetings and a lot of last-minute requests, and still say no to the right ones

· Nice to have: Ford, Mustang or Bronco knowledge; drift or motorsports exposure; basic photo and video chops

· Some event travel and weekend work, including Formula Drift and RTR events

WHAT WE OFFER

· 401(k)

· Health insurance or healthcare FSA, plus vision and dental

· Short-term disability; life insurance available

· 80 hours of PTO in year one, plus company holidays
