Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Applications Web Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java Full Stack development to design, develop, maintain, and modernize mission-critical government applications.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, microservices, and relational databases, along with exposure to AI-assisted development tools.

Required Technical Skills:

• Backend: Java 11/21, Spring Boot 2.6/3, Spring JDBC, JPA
• Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Progressive Web Applications (PWA)
• API Development: RESTful Web Services, Microservices, Distributed Architecture
• Databases: SQL, Relational Databases, Database Design and Integration
• Development Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, SAFe, SDLC
• Testing: Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Application Security, Performance and Accessibility Testing
• AI Tools: Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools and development practices
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of professional Java Full Stack development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with State Government or Criminal Justice applications
• Knowledge of Corrections, Courts, Law Enforcement, Parole, or Public Safety systems
• Experience with Java 8, Struts 1/2, Hibernate, jQuery
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Informix, Subversion, and Ant
• Experience converting Figma designs into Angular components
• Experience with SAFe Agile methodology and application security best practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java-based web applications.
• Develop REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
• Build responsive web interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.
• Work with relational databases and optimize application performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, and deployments.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Support modernization of existing applications and implement secure coding practices.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
