Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT)
Early Intervention | Children Birth–3 | Full-Time or Part-Time | Up to $120,000
Love pediatric physical therapy, but want more stability and support?
At Nurture Collective, we believe pediatric therapists should be able to focus on being great clinicians without constantly worrying about cancellations, filling their schedules, or unpredictable pay.
We are looking for a Pediatric Physical Therapist who loves working with infants, toddlers, and families and wants the flexibility of Early Intervention with the stability and support of an established interdisciplinary team.
We help build and maintain your caseload. You focus on being a great PT.
Whether you're an experienced pediatric PT or beginning your career, you'll have access to mentorship, continuing education, collaboration, and opportunities to develop your pediatric expertise.

What You'll Do
As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you'll provide relationship-based, family-centered services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays, disabilities, and complex developmental and medical needs.
Your work may include:
- Completing physical therapy and developmental evaluations
- Assessing gross motor development, strength, balance, coordination, postural control, mobility, and functional movement
- Developing individualized, functional goals based on the child's needs and family's priorities
- Providing physical therapy intervention within the child's natural routines and environments
- Supporting developmental skills such as head and trunk control, rolling, sitting, crawling, standing, walking, transitions, and functional mobility
- Addressing positioning, movement patterns, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, and participation in everyday activities
- Assessing the need for adaptive equipment, positioning supports, orthotics, and mobility equipment within your scope of practice
- Using play and meaningful activities to make intervention engaging and developmentally appropriate
- Coaching parents and caregivers on positioning, handling, movement, and activities they can incorporate into everyday routines
- Monitoring progress and adjusting intervention strategies based on the child's response and family priorities
- Collaborating with OTs, SLPs, child development specialists, service coordinators, physicians, and other members of the child's Early Intervention team
- Completing clear and timely clinical documentation
- Participating in clinical consultation, team meetings, and professional development
You Won't Be Doing This Alone
Early Intervention gives therapists independence, but that shouldn't mean practicing without support.
You'll be part of an interdisciplinary pediatric team with opportunities to consult and collaborate with experienced clinicians across physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, feeding, and child development.
We want you to have people you can turn to when you're working through a challenging case, evaluating a child with complex needs, learning a new assessment, developing your clinical reasoning, or simply want another clinical perspective.
You'll also have access to continuing education and professional development opportunities to strengthen your pediatric skills and explore areas of clinical interest.
