About this role
Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)
Early Intervention | Children Birth–5 | Full-Time or Part-Time | Up to $120,000
Love pediatric OT, but want more stability and support?

We help build and maintain your caseload. You focus on being a great OT.
Whether you're an experienced pediatric therapist or beginning your career, you'll have access to mentorship, continuing education, collaboration, and opportunities to develop your pediatric expertise.
Why OTs Choose Nurture Collective. More stability. More predictable pay.
More support to grow.

What You'll Do
As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you'll provide relationship-based, family-centered services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays, disabilities, and complex developmental needs.
Your work may include:
- Completing occupational therapy and developmental evaluations
- Developing individualized, functional goals based on the child's needs and family's priorities
- Providing occupational therapy intervention within the child's natural routines and environments
- Supporting fine motor development, sensory processing, regulation, play, feeding, self-care, motor development, and participation in everyday activities
- Using play and meaningful activities to help children develop new skills
- Coaching parents and caregivers on practical strategies they can incorporate into everyday routines
- Monitoring progress and adjusting intervention strategies based on the child's response and family priorities
- Collaborating with SLPs, PTs, child development specialists, service coordinators, physicians, and other members of the child's Early Intervention team
- Completing clear and timely clinical documentation
- Participating in clinical consultation, supervision, team meetings, and professional development
You Won't Be Doing This Alone
Early Intervention gives therapists independence, but that shouldn't mean practicing without support.
You'll be part of an interdisciplinary pediatric team with opportunities to consult and collaborate with experienced clinicians.
We want you to have people you can turn to when you're working through a challenging case, learning a new assessment, developing your clinical reasoning, or simply want another clinical perspective.
You'll also have access to continuing education and professional development opportunities to strengthen your pediatric skills and explore areas of clinical interest.
What We're Looking For
- Current California Occupational Therapist license
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Genuine interest in working with infants, toddlers, and families
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with children, families, colleagues, and community partners
- Ability to provide family-centered services and work collaboratively within interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary models of Early Intervention
- Ability to work independently in home and community settings while remaining connected to a clinical team
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and continue developing professionally
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Pediatric or Early Intervention experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
