Staff Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly accurate and efficient Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounting operations with precision, ensuring all work products are complete and reliable. The role involves preparing month end statements, performing reconciliations, and supporting strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis.

The Staff Accountant will handle ad hoc accounting requests, such as special reports or data analysis, while effectively managing time to meet all deadlines. Experience with audit preparation and compliance is preferred to support annual audits and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy
• Utilize accounting software to maintain financial records and generate reports
• Analyze accounting data to support strategic decision-making
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and complete all required monthly reporting requirements
• Prepare entries for accounts payable and accounts receivable, including account reconciliations and other financial transactions
• Support the annual audit process by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and assisting auditors as needed
• Handle ad hoc accounting requests, such as special reports, financial data analysis, or project-specific accounting tasks, as needed
• Manage workload efficiently to ensure timely completion of all responsibilities with high accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
