General Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to drive financial accuracy and operational efficiency across our expanding organization. You will play a pivotal role in streamlining multi-entity financial reporting, optimizing internal controls, and supporting the integration of new business units using advanced ERP systems.

Responsibilities* Execute month-end close procedures, including complex journal entries, accruals, and fixed asset management to ensure timely financial reporting.

• Drive the integrity of financial data by performing comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Manage end-to-end accounts payable workflows and intercompany transactions to maintain accurate cash flow records.
• Standardize accounting processes and reporting practices across multiple locations to improve operational consistency.
• Facilitate the migration and integration of financial data into NetSuite, ensuring seamless transitions for newly acquired entities.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, including inventory variances and overhead allocations, to provide actionable insights into production efficiency.
• Oversee multi-site payroll processing to guarantee accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing or multi-entity setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in general ledger management, account reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Advanced Excel capabilities, including data modeling, complex formulas, and large-scale reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of internal control frameworks and GAAP principles.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or QuickBooks ERP environments.
• Prior exposure to manufacturing-specific ERP platforms like JobBOSS.
• Proven ability to thrive in evolving environments where process development is required.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial discrepancies.
