Legal Counsel

Legal Counsel, Insured Litigation will manage a portfolio of complex insured litigation and claims from intake through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee case handling, including investigation, discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.
• Evaluate claims and legal risk, applying strong judgment to support effective outcomes.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, outside counsel, and insurers to drive resolution.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies to mitigate exposure while aligning with healthcare mission priorities.
• Qualifications & Skills Strong experience in civil litigation, particularly involving insured matters.
• Ability to manage complex cases end-to-end and handle multiple matters efficiently.
• Excellent legal analysis, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, healthcare-focused environment with sound decision-making.
