About this role
Role & Responsibilities:
Plans and implements occupational therapy treatment programs for patients across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric, based on established practices. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
Supervises occupational therapy assistants, aides, students, and observers, ensuring quality and adherence to protocols.
Provides physical and emotional support to patients, assisting with daily activities and patient care as needed.
Participates in performance improvement and documentation activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Requires the ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
- Must have sufficient strength, mobility, and stamina to handle physical activities, including lifting loads up to 50 pounds and frequent position changes.
- Must be able to handle emergency situations, wear protective gear, and work in environments with potential exposure to infectious diseases and chemicals.
- Physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting, with activity conditions varying from occasional to continuous.

Visual & Hearing Requirements
