Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

Role Overview: Seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist with hand treatment experience to join a multidisciplinary outpatient team. The role involves outpatient evaluation and treatment of patients with physical impairments affecting work or leisure activities, collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers, and delegating tasks to assistants and students.

The therapist will develop treatment plans, educate patients, and participate in staff development and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement individualized treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment.
• Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and other providers, making referrals as necessary.
• Delegate interventions to team members based on skill levels.
• Provide assessments, consultations, and treatments following clinical guidelines and policies.
• Support staff development, process improvement, and care innovation projects.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience not required.
• Board certification and licensure in area of expertise.
