About this role

JOB DESCRIPTION

Leverage your deep technical expertise and leadership to guide cutting-edge projects, fostering growth and innovation in a dynamic environment.

As a Vice President at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Technology, Employee Platforms Delivery and Execution, you will provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of complex, enterprise-scale initiatives. You will set direction, establish strong governance and delivery discipline, and partner with senior stakeholders across engineering, architecture, product, and business leadership to drive outcomes.

Leveraging deep technical fluency, modern delivery practices, and data-driven insights, you will enable iterative execution at scale, strengthen operational excellence, and ensure solutions are resilient, secure, and aligned to the firm's strategic priorities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own strategy and execution for large-scale, multi-year technology programs, translating strategic objectives into clear execution plans, milestones, dependencies, investment priorities, and measurable outcomes.
  • Operate independently with senior-level judgment, taking broad objectives and complex problems and establishing the structure, governance, operating model, and execution strategy.
  • Establish program governance and operating cadence, including OKRs/KPIs, executive steering, financial tracking, risk and dependency management, decision forums, and delivery transparency across multiple workstreams.
  • Develop and drive integrated program plans across internal teams and vendors, including technical requirements, sequencing, resourcing, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Drive execution and accountability across multiple teams and workstreams, proactively identifying delivery gaps, resolving cross-organizational dependencies, and ensuring commitments translate into measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, product, cyber, infrastructure, operations, and business leadership to define scope, technical strategy, value, success measures, and delivery approach.
  • Proactively manage program risk, controls, dependencies, and delivery health, identifying issues early, establishing mitigation and contingency plans, and driving appropriate escalation and decision-making.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across organizational boundaries, navigating competing priorities, challenging constructively, and creating alignment
  • Provide executive-level reporting and insights, using data, metrics, visualization, and concise narratives to communicate program health, progress, risks, trade-offs, decisions, and recommendations.
  • Champion AI fluency, automation, and responsible adoption of agentic capabilities, identifying opportunities to improve program delivery, portfolio insights, risk identification, reporting, stakeholder communications, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive experimentation and continuous learning, partnering with engineering, architecture, product, and control stakeholders to evaluate emerging AI and agentic capabilities, establish measurable use cases, and scale approaches that demonstrate value.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technology program management demonstrating at scale delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex programs end-to-end, from strategy and mobilization through execution and adoption.
  • Proven success leading large-scale programs spanning multiple teams, technologies, organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and delivery topics into concise narratives, decisions, risks, and recommendations
  • Strong technical fluency across modern enterprise technologies, systems, platforms, and digital tools, enabling partnership with engineering and architecture organizations.
  • Deep expertise in program governance, risk management, dependency management, delivery health, mitigation, escalation, and contingency planning.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, including experience establishing data-driven delivery metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and management information to evaluate performance and support decision-making.
  • AI fluency and intellectual curiosity, with the ability to identify and evaluate opportunities to apply AI, automation, and agentic capabilities to improve program execution, operational efficiency, and stakeholder transparency.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify high-value AI and agent-assisted use cases, define measurable outcomes, and partner with technical and control teams to evaluate feasibility, integration considerations, governance, risk, and operating impacts.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience leading firmwide or enterprise-scale technology initiatives across multiple organizations, platforms, or lines of business.
  • Experience operating within a large, complex, highly regulated technology environment.
  • Advanced executive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate strategy, program health, technical complexity, risks, trade-offs, and decisions clearly
  • Strong senior stakeholder management, influence, negotiation, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
  • Experience establishing or improving program management operating models, governance standards, portfolio management practices, and reusable execution frameworks.
  • Experience leveraging data visualization, automation, AI, or emerging technologies to improve program and portfolio management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; master's degree and/or relevant professional certifications such as PMP or Agile, preferred.
