Ironside IT Partners is seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to support infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology projects for small and medium-sized businesses throughout the Philadelphia region.

We're an established managed IT, cybersecurity, and compliance services firm committed to providing thoughtful technology solutions and building lasting client relationships.

We're looking for a capable, versatile engineer who enjoys solving problems, working with clients, and expanding their technical expertise.

What You'll Do

Working alongside experienced technical leadership, you'll help design, implement, and support solutions for our clients.

• Deploy and maintain business networks, servers, and cloud infrastructure.
• Support Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and infrastructure migration projects.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, switches, and wireless networks.
• Assist with technical project planning and implementation.
• Conduct cybersecurity assessments and implement security improvements.
• Help evaluate client environments against security requirements and compliance frameworks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide advanced support.
• Communicate with clients and maintain technical documentation.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on IT administration or engineering experience.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID.
• Working knowledge of business networking, firewalls, and virtualization.
• Experience implementing infrastructure upgrades or technical projects.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professionalism, initiative, and a willingness to learn.

Preferred

MSP experience, Azure, Intune, PowerShell, cybersecurity assessments, and familiarity with SonicWall, UniFi, or similar technologies.

Location & Work Arrangement

Flexible hybrid position with the option to work remotely or from our Cherry Hill, NJ office. Occasional onsite visits to clients throughout the Philadelphia metropolitan area are required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
