Pay Details

• Total Pay Rate: $65/hour
• Weekly Gross Pay: $2,340
• Taxable W2 Rate: $30/hour
• Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,260/week ($35/hour), for eligible travelers
• Overtime Rate: $65/hour after 40 hours/week
• Facility Bill Rate: $90/hour (not candidate pay)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week contract in Beloit, Wisconsin.

The selected nurse will provide emergency nursing care, perform patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe and effective patient outcomes.

Candidates must have an active Wisconsin RN license and current required certifications. AHA Provider-level certifications are mandatory for BLS, ACLS, and PALS at the time of start.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide emergency nursing care based on individual patient needs.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established policies and procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
• Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
• Promote patient safety and a positive patient experience.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities and shared governance.
• Support other departments as needed.
• Escalate patient safety concerns through the appropriate chain of command.
• Float to the Janesville Emergency Department location when required.

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN License – Required
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience
• AHA BLS – Required
• AHA ACLS – Required
• AHA PALS – Required
• NIHSS – Required
• TNCC or TNS – Required
• AHA Provider-level certification required for BLS, ACLS, and PALS at the time of start
• Current flu vaccination – Required
• Epic EMR experience
• Experienced ER nursing background
• Ability to work mid shifts and required holidays
• Flexibility to work at the Janesville Emergency Department when needed
