Intuites Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week Medical-Surgical/Stroke Stepdown assignment at MVHS Inc. in Utica, New York.

Earn $3,360 per week for 48 scheduled hours, with a flexible November 2026 start date. Three openings are available for qualified travel nurses with recent Medical-Surgical and Stroke Stepdown experience.

Required Qualifications

• Active, current New York RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, including Stroke Stepdown experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• NIHSS certification required; may be obtained before the start date
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Specialty-matched clinical skills checklist
• Valid driver's license with an address matching candidate demographics

Unit & Patient Population

Unit: 64-bed adult Medical-Surgical/Stroke Stepdown unit.

Nurses may care for patients with:

• Stroke and neurological conditions
• Altered mental status
• Renal conditions and dialysis
• COPD and other pulmonary conditions
• Congestive heart failure (CHF)
• Pneumonia
• Isolation cases
• General Medical-Surgical conditions

Specialty equipment: IV pumps, nasogastric (NG) tubes, and feeding tubes.

Additional Assignment Details

• Floating between units may be required.
• Scrub color: Navy blue.
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed.
• No on-call requirement.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission.
• Overtime is paid at $85/hour after 48 hours per week.
• Daily overtime provisions also apply; confirm the applicable calculation with the recruiter.
• Pricing negotiations are not permitted.
