Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations for residents to determine functional status and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans aimed at maximizing independence and quality of life.
• Lead and supervise therapy sessions, assist with activities of daily living training, and coordinate therapeutic activities with the care team.
• Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately in the patient record.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social work, and other disciplines to ensure holistic resident care.
• Monitor safety, compliance with regulatory standards, and infection control practices during therapy.

Requirements

• Availability to work the stated shift and weekly hours for the duration of the assignment
• Ability to provide occupational therapy services in a long-term care setting
• Strong communication and documentation skills for interdisciplinary care
• Eligible to work in the United States for a travel assignment
