Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients, including ongoing assessments and monitoring.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform routine nursing procedures according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with the health care team to implement and adjust care plans; document care in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
• Identify and respond to changes in patient status, escalating to the charge nurse or physician as needed.
• Support patient safety, assist with discharge planning, and communicate effectively with patients and families.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license; Nursys license verification required.
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required.
• No time off requests (NO RTO) during the assignment.
• Candidate profile must include: work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, Skills Checklist, References, Certification Card.
