Senior Information Technology Project Manager

Senior IT Project Manager | Up to $190,000 | 3 Days onsite in Boston

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex technology projects across a large, fast paced professional environment. You will manage projects from initiation through delivery, partnering with IT leadership and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered effectively, on time and aligned with business priorities.

This role will also help strengthen project management processes, governance and best practices across the wider IT function.

What you'll do

• Lead complex IT projects and multiple concurrent initiatives from planning through delivery.
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, resources and success criteria.
• Manage project plans, dependencies, risks, issues and deliverables.
• Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to establish priorities and delivery plans.
• Provide clear updates on project progress, risks, issues and recommendations.
• Manage project resources, budgets and third party vendors.
• Lead requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement.
• Facilitate project meetings, steering committees and status reviews.
• Improve project management processes, governance and delivery standards.
• Support technology initiatives across infrastructure, applications and business systems.
• Conduct project reviews and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to other project management resources.

What you bring

• Significant experience managing complex IT projects.
• Experience delivering a mix of infrastructure and application or software projects.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycles, requirements gathering and delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing multiple projects and working with senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with enterprise technology platforms and business systems.
• Strong communication, organisation, leadership and problem solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, service focused environment.
• PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.
