This is a

technical leadership position rather than a people-management role

The client values strong engineering fundamentals, problem-solving ability and adaptability. Exact technology alignment is less important than a strong technical foundation and the ability to learn and work effectively across the stack.

  • Work primarily on new, greenfield development rather than legacy application maintenance
  • Take ownership of significant features and applications

  • Act as a technical resource and go-to person within the team
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback
  • Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions
  • Help solve complex engineering problems
  • Participate in peer design discussions and collaborative development
  • Work closely with other engineers through pair programming and knowledge sharing
  • Work directly with non-technical business stakeholders and communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Support deployment and infrastructure-related troubleshooting when required
  • Work within CI/CD and modern cloud-based development environments
  • Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture focused on continuous improvement
  • Use AI-assisted development tools where appropriate

What We're Looking For

6-8 years of professional software engineering experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong experience with

C# / .NET

  • Experience with

or

  • Experience with

  • Enterprise application development experience

  • Previous experience mentoring engineers or providing technical guidance
  • Experience contributing to code reviews
  • Experience contributing to architecture or technical design
  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

The core technology environment includes:
