Job description
About this role
About The Role
The role sits at the center of a fast-moving technology organization, owning the operational systems, processes, and cross-functional coordination that keep product, engineering, and go-to-market teams executing in sync.
This position matters because scaling companies break their processes before they break their products: the Operations Manager identifies where work stalls, redesigns workflows, builds the reporting that exposes real bottlenecks, and drives initiatives from kickoff to measurable outcome across a distributed team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve core operational processes, documenting SOPs in Notion or Confluence and driving adoption across teams
- Lead cross-functional projects end-to-end, managing timelines, owners, and deliverables in tools like Asana, Linear, or Jira
- Build and maintain operational dashboards (Looker, Tableau, or Google Sheets-based) tracking utilization, cycle time, and delivery metrics
- Run weekly operating cadences: prepare leadership reviews, track action items, and hold owners accountable to deadlines
- Identify and eliminate process bottlenecks through data analysis, proposing and implementing workflow improvements with measurable results
- Manage procurement, tooling renewals, and vendor relationships supporting day-to-day operations
- Surface operational risks and capacity constraints to leadership with clear, data-backed recommendations
What We Are Looking For
- 4-7 years of experience in operations, project management, or program management, ideally at a technology company
- Demonstrated success running cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and hard deadlines
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable building models and dashboards in SQL, Google Sheets, or BI tools
- Fluency with modern work-management tooling (Asana, Jira, Linear, Notion) and experience designing processes, not just following them
- Excellent written communication — able to write crisp status updates, project briefs, and executive summaries
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: experience at a Series B-D startup, PMP or similar certification, SQL proficiency, or background in business operations consulting
