Engage Therapy & Wellness is seeking a compassionate, motivated part-time Physical Therapist to join our neurologic-focused outpatient practice.
We provide individualized physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to help patients improve their confidence, independence, and quality of life. Our clinicians build meaningful patient relationships while working alongside colleagues who value collaboration and continued learning.

Schedule and onboarding
Your consistent weekly schedule will be established together based on your availability and patient care needs. Please include your preferred days and approximate weekly availability when applying.
Onboarding is tailored to your experience and scheduled hours, with a gradual caseload ramp-up, guidance on clinic workflows, and ongoing clinical support.
Our patient population
You’ll work with patients with conditions including:
- Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis.
- Stroke and brain injury.
- Concussion.
- Vestibular dysfunction and dizziness.
- Balance and gait disorders.
- Functional neurologic disorder.
- Neuropathy.
Our care focuses on meaningful everyday goals—from walking safely at home to returning to work and participating in family life.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
- Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based treatment.
- Educate patients and caregivers.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other healthcare providers.
- Complete timely, accurate documentation.
- Contribute to a welcoming, professional team environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current New York State Physical Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure before beginning clinical practice.
- Interest in neurologic and vestibular rehabilitation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to teamwork, individualized care, and continued learning.
Prior neurologic experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation and benefits
- $35–$40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Retention bonus, based on scheduled weekly hours relative to a 40-hour workweek. Half is paid after six months and half after twelve months, subject to written eligibility terms provided with the offer.
